Ingredients:
- 10 g decarboxylated cannabis (see below)
- 250 g butter
- 500 ml water
Preparation:
1. Decarboxylate:
- Coarsely chop the cannabis.
- Bake it in the oven at 110-115 °C for 30-40 minutes (on baking paper) to activate the THC.
2. Melt the butter:
- Put the butter and water in a pan and heat gently.
3. Add cannabis:
- Add the decarboxylated cannabis to the butter.
4. Simmern:
- Leave everything to simmer on a low heat for 2-3 hours (do not boil!). Stir again and again.
5. Strain:
- Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
6. Cooling:
- Place in the fridge until the butter has set on top. Remove the solidified fat from the top = Cannabutter.
Dosage note:
1 tsp contains 5-10 mg THC depending on the starting amount - start with careful (1/4 tsp or similar).
